Our Company Story
For years, folks came into the showroom at Koehler Kitchen and Bath in Greensboro
wanting to remodel their bathrooms. The only option at that time was to tear everything out and replace it. It was messy, expensive and time consuming. Often the cost was more than the customer wanted to invest. We considered the tub re-glazing process as a possible option. Even though it was affordable, it did not measure up to our quality standards. Its life span is typically 3 to 5 years, and it is smelly and toxic. I was disappointed that there was nothing on the market to meet the needs of customers who wanted a more satisfactory, affordable option.
One day I received a post card from Re-Bath, a company that makes an acrylic bathtub that fits over an old bathtub. I requested more information. Re-Bath sent me a sample of the ¼" acrylic tub-liner material they use, and was I surprised! They make a brand new tub that fits right over an existing tub. You didn’t have to tear the old tub out! I thought this may be the answer to affordable bathroom remodeling -- a superior product that could be installed in a short period of time.
After touring the Re-Bath plant in Phoenix and visiting their corporate retail store, I knew this was the answer. Re-Bath offered the high quality product we were looking for, and it had a lifetime warranty. We could help folks remodel their bathrooms with a quality product in a fraction of the time of a conventional remodel. I envisioned owning a Re-Bath store just like the corporate store in Phoenix.
That was ten years ago. Since opening the Greensboro store
, at 2601-B Battleground, we have remodeled over 4,000 bathrooms using Re-Bath products and offer more remodeling options than any other company. Our Raleigh store
, located at 6570 Glenwood Avenue, opened in April of 2006 and has exceeded all sales expectations. Our Wilmington store, located at 6010 Oleander Drive, opened in October, 2007. We strive to be innovative in all areas of our business, always looking for new products to offer our customers. We have just introduced a line of vanities with a furniture look and added a barrier-free shower. More creative options are on the way.
We have the best possible solutions on the market for homeowners who want to remodel their bathrooms efficiently, within their budget and with quality products. And our customers really like working with a locally-owned, family company.
